“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”- Mal. 3:10
Tithing is an intentional practice through which God teaches us about His sovereign ownership of everything. Instead of being consumers of our blessings, we are to stop and thank the One through whom all blessings come.
Through the tithe, (which literally means “tenth”) God takes care of His people—and through the act of generous giving, God continues to bless his people.
